Naz Osmanoglu: Scandinaveland
This will sound a little like my review for Tom Parry (see Saturday). We have been fans of Naz for many years since his
"WitTank" days and more recently his solo shows, including one about his personal life and a great Sketch based one,
featuring the great creation Jeff Goldblumblum.
Now he is back in "Scandinaveland" playing detective Lars investigating (yet) another dark, cold Swedish murder. This set-up
allows him to play a variety of characters, which is where his skill lies.
The result is a lot of silliness and a huge amount of fun as ever. It is extremely hard to fill an hour of full on fun in a one person
show and there are naturally times when it sags.
However, Naz in full flow is a sight to behold and definitely worth a watch.
Naz Osmanoglu is at Just The Tonic at The Caves until August 25th (not Mondays)
