Simon Munnery is unwell. We know this, because he told us so at the start of the show. And yet, he produced a comedy masterclass, as he has always done; old habits die hard, and what else would he be doing, anyway.

From his hilarious one-liners, through to his blisteringly funny observations on life, his satire, his flipchart drawings and the surreal stories he weaves around them, his short, punchy poetry, to the imaginary conversations he constructs from a single moment in history (or in his mind), this was a hugely entertaining and very, very funny session.

It was a great pleasure to spend an hour in his company. (DM)
