Absolute Bus Stops of Northern Europe ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As our 2018 Edinburgh festival came to a conclusion Darkchatters David and Anne were tired, wet and miserable. It was pouring with rain, we had both succumbed to our usual colds and the previous show was rubbish.

Then we selected Cutlery Accident Avoidance - Level 2 and everything was fine. Curated by Ian Crawford we were taken on a PowerPoint presentation guide about how to avoid the pitfalls of cutlery uses. This show was silliness personified and cheered us up completely. So, when we saw Absolute Bus Stops in the brochure featuring Jim Judges aka Ian Crawford this became the first show on our spreadsheet.

A lot of performers chat to the audience as they take their seats, I have never before been asked what was the number of the bus I last caught. Not only was this a good way of getting people involved but it set the scene about what was to follow.

Absolute Bus Stops Of Northern Europe and Beyond does exactly what it says on the tin. No one will be suing Jim Judges for breach of promise as this was what we got, and more.

Mr J is a wonderful host, genial, cheeky and very thorough. Thanks to an excellent presentation we are shown a variety of different styles of bus stop and most importantly we are introduced to his unique ( and thorough) system of rating Bus Stops out of 10, and giving plenty of opportunities to practise our newly found skills.

This is a fun, silly idea but it shouldn't really work as an hour's show. The fact that it does is an acknowledgement of Jim's mastery of his material and interacting with people.

His Accident Avoidance show was the perfect way to end our 2018 festival and Absolute Bus Stops was the perfect way to start this year's festival. We can relax now we know we are going to have another successful week.
