The Wreck⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Wreck is the tale of two siblings whose parents lived in a coastal town, diving by day and running a bar at night. The brother and sister have kept the place afloat (sorry) but they now have to decide whether it is time for them both to move on with their lives.

The tale is told in an enchanting and whimsical style, that from the outset engages the audience. There is hypnotic live music throughout and clever use of both live camera work and puppetry to create a magical underwater world. Humour prevents the piece from being over sentimental and the siblings relationship and their dilemma feels natural and moving.

This is the first time that Darkchat has seen a piece from Buzzcut Productions but hopefully will not be the last. Recommended.
